If you happened to see a piece that you really liked and it is no longer available send an email to productrequest@pangea-collection.com and if there is any chance that Pangea Collection can get another one for you, I’ll let you know. Please be aware that most of the pieces are ordered from far away places and are made by small artisan workshops, who handcraft the items, so the delay can be quite lengthy. But if you simply must have it, send an email and I’ll let you know what can be done.

While every effort is made to update the inventory information on the site in real time, if for some reason an item that you ordered is out of stock, you will be notified via email. Any changes will be reflected on your order total.

For Featured Collections, simply click on the icon or on the image of the product or on the product name you’d like to buy and the site’s navigation will take you directly there.

1. Shop
   When you see an item you’d like to purchase, select "add to cart". If you wish to make a purchase, you will be required to register/login. After you add the item to the cart you have two options, "continue shopping" or select "check out now". After you select "check out now" you will automatically go to the shipping module.

2. Address Info
   This information will automatically be entered if you are registered. If you would like to view the information you can click on the "address book".

3. Shipping Options
   In the shipping module you can select Expedited Shipping via Canada Post (within Canada at no additional cost and within the continental USA no cost for orders over $50.00) or you can request another faster shipping method. The fee for faster shipping will be calculated based on your package and destination. The cost of the shipping will be displayed on the screen with the corresponding shipping method. Click "select shipping method" to continue to the payment module.

4. Payment
   Enter your credit card information in the payment section and click "continue checkout".

5. Order Confirmation
   The order confirmation page will be displayed with all of your order information. If you are satisfied with your order confirmation details, click on "place order".

6. Order Completion
   An "order completed" screen will appear along with your order number which you can print at this point.

Modifying/Canceling an Order
Please be aware that once an order has been finalised in the checkout it is not possible to make any modifications to the order including cancellations.

Registering/Log In
By registering you are creating an account for your personal access. You may access your account by using your email address and password that you have created.

How To Register/Log In
Simply click on "Log In" and complete the required information. If you have never purchased from Pangea Collection before, you must register/login before you can place an order. If you already have items in your cart and are ready to complete your order, simply click on "checkout" and this will automatically direct you to registration.

Taxes
Purchases made from within Canada (and shipped in Canada) are subject to 5% GST or 13% HST for NS, NFLD/Labrador, NB. Additionally, purchases made from Ontario (and shipped in Ontario) are subject to 8% PST. Shipments going to outside of Ontario are not subject to Ontario PST. International shipments are not subject to either tax, however please see International shipments for details/restrictions.

Payment Methods Accepted and Payment Security
We accept Mastercard and Visa. The payment gateway that we use is Moneris, Moneris Solutions is Canada's largest processor of debit and credit card transactions. Your confidential information is automatically encrypted in transit using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL).

Shipping with Canada Post Expedited Parcel provides up to $100 insurance and a tracking number. The tracking number allows you to track your package and it also allows Pangea Collection to confirm you received your package as the shipper promised. The delivery time is approximately 3-7 days, depending on your location within Canada.

SHIPPING

Shipping Destinations
Pangea Collection will gladly ship to anywhere that can be accessed by courier. The shipping cost and customs fees outside of Canada and the Continental USA (for USA free shipping with min $50 purchase applies) are the customer’s responsibility. Please read the section on International Shipping for other details.

International Shipping
International shipping charges are based on several factors, including the dimensions and weight of the package as well as its destination. To determine the cost, please add your selected items to your cart and proceed to checkout. You will be able to view the shipping costs during the checkout process and should you wish to cancel your order you can do so as long as you have not confirmed the order, which comes after the shipping screen.

Risk of loss and title for merchandise shipped internationally will pass to you upon Pangea Collection’s delivery to the carrier. Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from Pangea Collection, you are the importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. You authorise Pangea Collection to designate a carrier to act as your agent with the relevant customs and tax authorities in the destination country, to clear your merchandise and advance (on your behalf) any duties and taxes owed by you.

Your privacy is important to Pangea Collection, and are aware that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. Pangea Collection would like international customers and customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

Also, Pangea Collection may provide certain order, shipment, and product information, such as description, to the international carriers, and this information may be communicated by the carriers and to customs authorities to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws. Customs authorities require the value of the package (gift or not) be stated directly on the package.

Shipping Damage
Should you find that your item is in unacceptable condition, due to shipping damage, when you receive it, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving the package, via email at shipping@pangea-collection.com to advise us of the damage to begin the insurance process.

Shipping Timing
Orders will ship within 48 hours of purchase (excluding weekends and holidays), pending availability and credit card verification.

Order Tracking
You will receive an order confirmation once your order has been successfully transmitted. In addition, a shipping confirmation email will be sent once your order has been shipped. This confirmation will include the tracking number for your package.

Refused Shipments
If you decide to refuse any shipments from Pangea Collection Inc. you are responsible for the value of original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package (on both the original and return shipments), as the cost of returning the package to Pangea Collection Inc. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund.

Shipping Restrictions
Pangea Collection is unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes. Please be aware that some countries may have restrictions on the receipt of specific items.

The items may be returned to Pangea Collection Inc. for exchange or credit so long as they are returned within fifteen (15) days of your receipt of the merchandise. Items must not have been worn or altered. The items must have original tags attached and be returned in their original packaging. All purchases of sale and clearance items are FINAL.

If you prefer, you may use another return shipping method, so long as it is insured and has a tracking number. Please note that alternative shipping will be at your own expense. Shipping the package via an insured company with a tracking number will provide you with recourse should there be a problem with the shipping. Pangea Collection cannot accept responsibility for packages that it did not ship. Pangea Collection does not accept any returns via COD.

Credit card refunds will be processed once your package has been received at Pangea Collection Inc. Your refund will be processed in the original form of payment within five business days of receipt of the returned package. You will be notified via email to the address listed on your account when this transaction has taken place. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from Pangea Collection Inc.

PASSWORDs & accounts

Forgotten Password
If you have forgotten your password, simply click on the link on the "my account" page. By providing your email address via a secure encrypted connection Pangea Collection will email you a new password that you must change as soon as you log in. Passwords are case sensitive and must include 5 characters.

Changing Your Password
Once you have logged-in to your account you may change your password. Enter a new password then click on the update account button.

Changing Your Account Profile
Once you Log into your account you will be able to update your profile. Once you make your changes click on the update account button.

Information Collected
In order to serve you better, Pangea Collection collects and stores your personal information when you do one of the following:

• Create an account on Pangea-Collection.com
• Sign up to be notified of special deals and/or exclusive offers (which is the same process as creating an account).
• Enter a contest or promotion on the website

An account is created when you do one of the following things:

• Make a purchase on Pangea-Collection.com
• Register for an account on Pangea-Collection.com
• Enter certain Pangea Collection contests/promotions

When creating an account, you will be asked for your first and last name, your email address, a password, shipping/billing information as well as perhaps other similar information. If you are making a purchase, you will also be asked for your credit card information.

The system may also gather information about the areas you visit on the website as well as the IP address you use to connect to the website. This data may be used internally only for two reasons:

• To Personalise the marketing materials you receive from Pangea Collection or our partners.
• To prevent fraud on your account.

Pangea Collection would not share any of this data on an individual basis (it may be shared in an aggregate form without personal information identified) with any outside company other than perhaps consultants or service providers of Pangea Collection who were assisting Pangea Collection in serving you better. Any of that information would only be shared with a consultant or service provider if that party agreed to protect your private information by adopting a privacy policy at least as stringent as Pangea Collection’s own policy. Navigational information is used both in aggregate and on an individual basis to understand how visitors use the Pangea Collection website so that the website can be made even better.

Personal Information
Your information is used to process your orders, for internal purposes and to comply with any legal requirements. By storing your personal information on a secure server, Pangea Collection is able to shorten your checkout process and allow you to review your order status online.

Pangea Collection also reviews what products appeal most to customers as a group. This statistical information helps to improve product selection. The information may also be used about the products you buy to make other marketing offers to you. If you prefer, you always have the option to opt-out from receiving such offers.

To the extent that you use the electronic payment services on the website provided by Moneris, some of your purchase information may be shared with that portal/service provider to assist that service provider in serving you better. However, rest assured that we would only share that information with the same service provider you are using and then only to the extent that such a service provider agreed to protect your private information by adopting a privacy policy at least as stringent as Pangea Collection’s policy.

Safeguarding Personal Information
Pangea Collection has implemented a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of employees who have special access rights. When you place orders or access your personal information, you do so via the use of a secure server. All sensitive/credit information supplied by you is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

Email Address Use
Your email address is used to create and identify your account on Pangea Collection. Your email address may also be used to correspond with you about any orders that you may place or to notify you with the results of any contests you may have entered. In addition, your email address may also be used to notify you about important functionality changes to the Pangea Collection website, new services and/or special offers and/or promotions.

"Cookies"

Unsubscribe From Our Email List
You can remove your email address from the list of addresses that receive information from Pangea Collection in two ways. Simply click on the "unsubscribe" link that appears on the bottom of any email and follow the simple instructions. Alternatively, if you have created an account with Pangea Collection, you can also remove your email address from our list of address by clicking on the "my account" button that appears on the website, logging into your account, clicking on the "edit preferences" button, and making the appropriate change. While you can unsubscribe to the mailing list you need to have an email address for registration.
